    ACT

The ACT is based on what students learn in high school and provides personalized information about their strengths for education and career planning.     SAT

    The SAT® is offered to students in the U.S. and around the world in August, October, November, December, March, May, and June.

    PSAT Wednesday, October 10

    The PSAT is the preliminary SAT that is used to qualify students for the National Merity Scholarship Program.

     ACT Prep Dates:

    *September 5th & 6th (9/5 Hours 1-4 9/6 Hours 5-7)

    *October 17th & 18th (10/17 Hours 1-4 10/18 Hours 5-7)

    *November 28th & 29th (11/28 Hours 1-4 11/29 Hours 5-7)

    *January 30th & 31st (1/30 Hours 1-4 1/31 Hours 5-7)

    *April 3rd & 4th (4/3 Hours 1-4 4/4 Hours 5-7)

     

    *Students will take a full ACT practice test during hours 1-4 on the first day of ACT Prep. The next day, during hours 5-7, students will get their practice test scores back and meet with BSSD academic coaches to discuss testing strategies in the areas of math, English/reading and science.

    To sign up for an ACT test, go to act.org and register. Once you have registered, you will get an invite to that month's ACT Prep Day! If you have any questions, see Mrs. Blaney in counseling.
